An Ideal Time to Buy Lake Lots in Northwestern WI

Our snow cover has been wildly diminished in the last few days by the sun, wind and rain that we’ve received! In fact, it’s actually possible to walk through the woods in most cases! That means it’s a good time to get out and look at lake lots. If you’re thinking about investing in a lake lot or building your dream cabin, Spring is an ideal time to look. It’s easier to see the terrain and boundaries before the leaves come out and it’s a virtually pest-free time, with very little insect life to bother you. (buzz, buzz)

As the market for lake cabins becomes more and more strong, so will the market for lake lots. It’s been slow for a few years because our cabin inventory has been so abundant. (Why buy a lot and build when you can buy an existing place that suits your needs?) But that’s starting to change and we feel it’s a good time to consider buying a waterfront lot before the inventory diminishes and the pricing changes.

We have a great inventory of waterfront lots available that can be viewed on our website at http://www.c21sandcounty.com/properties/, but we’ve chosen to highlight a few here.

Matthews Lake
Matthews Lake

This lot on Matthews Lake is absolutely ideal and is what most people want: a clear-water recreational lake, level elevation, sandy frontage and a great sense of privacy. Even better, there is another lot right next to it that’s available to double your holdings or for a friend or family member to buy.

Clam Lake
Clam Lake

Clam Lake is one of our largest and best fishing lakes. It also offers great boating to restaurants and exploration of the Clam River. This level lot has a driveway, electricity and a holding tank. It also has a garage in place to store all your lake toys!

Long Lake
Long Lake

If you want privacy on a smaller, quiet lake, this is your spot on Long Lake. With over 3 acres and over 300 feet of frontage, it offers groomed walking paths in a wooded setting. The frontage is sandy and great for swimming and it comes with a 29’ camper, septic system, drilled well, electrical service and a gated driveway. Done and done!

Rice Lake
Rice Lake

Mature pines and a gradual slope to the lake are high on the wish list for most people! Add a western view with great sunsets and you’ve arrived at this lot on Rice Lake. It has a bunkhouse in place with electricity and heat, a sand point well and a composting toilet. Great fishing awaits you!

If you’d like to see one or more of these lake lots or any of the other lake lots we have available, just let us know. We’re happy we can finally get out and look at them again! ~Wanda Boldon
